Resonance Senior Strings & Quartet Conspirito in concert

Resonance Senior Strings, the exciting extension program of the Macedon Ranges’ much loved Resonance String Orchestra, is joining forces with Quartet Conspirito (Sasha Bronshtein, Heather Cummins, Emma Wade and Sam Goble) to present a sublime selection of works including baroque concerti, selections from Beethoven’s String Quartet Op.18 No 3. in D major, and Mendelssohn’s extraordinary final string quartet in F Minor, written just two months before his death. 

This concert will feature four soloists presenting concerti. For secondary students Una Mitchell and Morgen Mackay this will be their inaugural solo appearance with the orchestra, performing the Vivaldi double violin concerto in A minor. Adult members Beata Urbaniak and Mae Smith will present Telemann’s enchanting viola concerto in G Major.  An appearance will also be made by members of the Resonance String Orchestra main ensemble.A delicious afternoon tea will be provided. Please come and enjoy this intimate performance in the gallery space of the Cope Williams Estate.
